Under
certain circumstances, the state, the federal government, or
certain utilities are able to condemn private property through the
exercise of a process called eminent domain. When this happens,
the person whose property is taken for public use is entitled to
be compensated for the value of that property and for any damage
resulting to their remaining property by reason of the take.
Thomas L. Phillips, Sr. represents persons whose property has been
taken in eminent domain proceedings. Mr. Phillips, Sr. provides
free initial consultations to potential clients with eminent
domain cases.
